Virtual pixel technology, also as known as multiplexing or led pixel decomposition technique, it let a pixel be a number of the independent led diodes. Make 2R1G1B dynamics pixels type as a example, a pixel is split into four separate units of the LED. Under normal circumstances, the space between the LEDs is uniform distributed.
The advantages of (take the four-pixel dynamic technology as an example) virtual-pixel (does not exist physically, but in fact achievable), the density is up to 4 times of the real pixels. And the effective visual pixels density can be increased by 4 times at the maximum.
And of course you can differ the virtual pixel and real pixel by the naked eye. In the same circumstances, the virtual pixels' resolution is 4 times higher, also the quantity of the driving IC should increased, so the price of screen increases only decided by the increase price of the IC. So compared to the same pixel pitch real pixel led display, the virtual pixel led display is much economic.
